The Cookies Policy and other tracking technologies regulate the processing and storage of data, including personal data, of users (“User” or “Users”), collected using SPCare websites, platforms, and applications through cookies, by South Point Care – Especialidades Farmacêuticas, Lda, NIPC 508 284 872, headquartered at Rua Luciano Cordeiro, n. º 123 – 1Dtº, 1050-139 Lisbon, as the entity responsible for the treatment, hereinafter referred to as “SPCare”.

This Cookies Policy clarifies the types of cookies used by SPCare on its websites, platforms, and applications under the SPCare domain.

It is possible to choose the types of cookies that can be downloaded to your Internet access device (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) through the privacy settings in the options of the internet browser you use, hereinafter referred to as browser.

The use of cookies by SPCare never allows the identification of the user, and cookies are only used for the purposes set out in paragraph 2 of article 5 of Law no. /2012, of 08/29. This Cookies Policy and other tracking technologies should be read in conjunction with SPCare’s Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy.

Cookies are classified by their life cycle, domain to which they belong and the purpose or purpose for which they are used. As with most websites, platforms, and applications, for them to function correctly, we install small files called cookies or connection testimonials on your computer or mobile device.

To distinguish all users when using websites, platforms, or applications, SPCare uses cookies and other similar tracking technologies, to provide them with a better experience, suitable for their devices or equipment, whenever they browse, visit, or use our websites, platforms or applications.

These files allow, for a certain period, the website, or the application to “remember” your actions and preferences, namely the chosen language, the size of the characters and other display settings.

The cookie identifies your browser on the server, making it possible to store specific information on your device. This technology serves several purposes, such as helping to determine the usefulness, interest, and number of uses of our websites, platforms, or applications, allowing the user to browse faster and more efficiently, eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information. To improve the user experience, the cookie allows the personalization of content, as well as the display of advertising, if the user allows it.

Most browser programs (browsers) are set to accept cookies, although it is possible to configure the browser to refuse all cookies (see Cookies – How to Manage, Enable or Disable
Cookies), or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. When you browse websites, platforms or applications and the cookie is accepted, on a next visit to the websites, platforms, or applications our internet server will recognize your computer or mobile device.

In this way, when you browse the pages of websites, platforms or applications or return to one of the websites, platforms, or applications that you have already visited, in which you have given your consent to the use of cookies, you do not, in principle, have to indicate your preferences again. or entering data that you had previously provided.

How to manage, enable or disable Cookies:

By default, all strictly necessary cookies are allowed, however you can select your preference in the other existing categories. In this module you can activate and deactivate, accept, or refuse the use of cookies regarding their typology, purpose and period of time, selecting according to your preference and permission.

Your preferences will be saved for the next sessions, visits, or use, without the need to make a new selection. To this end, you must always configure Session Cookies so that this registration is authorized.

Additionally, all browsers allow the respective user to accept, refuse or delete cookies, namely by selecting the appropriate settings in the respective internet browser (browser). The user can thus configure his browser to inform whenever a cookie is received or even deactivate its acceptance.

SPCare warns that, in this case, it may partially affect the use of some of our services, not having an improved and personalized navigation on our websites, platforms and applications.

If your browser’s privacy setting is set to “High”, you will not be able to access some of our services and may be prevented from fully using all the features of our websites, platforms, or applications.

To resolve this issue, please add our internet addresses to the list of allowed websites in your browser?s privacy settings.

If you are accessing our websites, platforms and applications from a corporate computer and cannot access it, the problem may be with your computer's corporate security settings. We recommend that you contact your system administrator.

It is possible to manage the cookie options, in the Consent and Preference Management Module available for this purpose, on the websites, platforms and applications.

To manage the use of Cookies in your Internet browser, follow these steps:

On Google Chrome

Enable cookies:
1. In the upper right corner (at the three dots), select “Settings”;
2. In “Privacy and Security” > “Site Settings” > Cookies;
3. In the option next to “Blocked”, change the position to active.

Disable cookies:
1. In the upper right corner (at the three dots), select “Settings”;
2. In !Privacy and Security! > “Site Settings” > Cookies;
3. In the option “Allow websites to save and read data from files “cookies” – which temporarily store what you have visited on the network”, select disable.

Note: Disabling cookies may prevent some services from working properly within the platforms. However, disabling cookies does not damage any electronic device or give you any control over your personal information.

In Microsoft Edge

Enable cookies:
1. Select Menu (3-dot icon in the upper right corner of the browser).
2. Click on “Settings > Site Permissions”.
3. Under Cookies and website data, enable “Allow websites to save and read cookie data (recommended)” to unblock cookies.

Disable cookies:
1. Select “Menu” (3 dots icon in the upper right corner of the browser).
2. Click on “Settings > Site Permissions”.
3. Under “Cookies and site data”, activate “Block third-party cookies”; or add the desired websites in the “Block” section to block cookies.

In Mozilla Firefox

Enable cookies:

1. Click on the “Tools” menu (3-dot icon in the upper right corner of the browser);
2. Select “Options”;
3. Click the “Privacy” icon on the top panel;
4. In the “Cookies” section, choose “Accept Cookies”;
5. Click “OK” to save the settings and close.

Disable cookies:
1. Select the “Tools” menu (3-dot icon in the upper right corner of the browser);
2. Select “Options”;
3. Click on the “Privacy”; icon on the top panel;
4. In the “Cookies” section, disable the option “Accept Cookies”;
5. Click “OK”to save changes and close.

On safari

Enable cookies:
1. Select “Safari | Preferences”;
2. On the top panel, select the “Privacy” icon;
3. Disable the “Block all cookies” option.

Disable cookies:
1. Select Safari Z “Preferences”;
2. On the top panel, select the “Privacy” icon;
3. Click on “Block all cookies”.
