“Metastatic colorectal carcinoma: The Specialist Answers” to the questions raised by patients

To clarify the main doubts raised by patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (CCRm), a series of videos and infographics are launched today that aim to clarify the whole community. Starting from nine most common questions on the subject, nine experts answer, in video, in a simple, direct and clear way. 

Until July 7, the nine videos will be available on the news portal Jornal Médico. The first video features Mariana Malheiro, from Hospital São Francisco Xavier, answering the question: “Can treatments affect my fertility and sexuality?”

The initiative also includes interventions by specialists, Nuno Teixeira Tavares, Edgar Pratas, Ana Faria Harrison, Ana Ferreira, Jorge Manuel Cruz, Sérgio Azevedo, Albertina Milheiro Santos and Sofia Amorim Oliveira.

This is an initiative promoted by AMGEN, with the support of the Portuguese Oncological Nursing Association (AEOP), of the Support to the patient with digestive cancer (Europacolon Portugal) and of the research group, Digestive Cancer (GICD).
